Microstar has just put out a new minor release of its free Java-based
AElfred XML parser (optimized for use in applets). This release fixes
two bugs:

1) parameter entities sometimes caused errors when they began with
whitespace; and

2) long identifier names caused exceptions because of a brain-dead
hash algorithm.

You can download AElfred, find out more information, or try an online
demonstration at the following URL:

(Note also the change in the numbering scheme for releases.)

All the best,

David
