A synonym for "valid" is "correct". But there is a big difference
between "invalid XML" and "incorrect XML" due to the loading of the
common word "valid".
As far as I know "valid" has no SGML genesis. Does anyone know
where it came from?
"well formed" and "fully formed" or some such would make talking
(and writing!) about XML a lot easier:-)
